App Data Deletion

This page describes how data stored on our servers in connection with Shopify apps by Sharobella e.U. (e.g. ZipGo Express Delivery) is deleted. Important: we do not store any data of your end customers – see our App Privacy Policy for details.

Automatic deletion on uninstall

When you uninstall one of our apps, Shopify removes your app configuration (stored as metafields inside your own store) together with the app. Roughly 48 hours later Shopify sends us the shop/redact compliance webhook; we then delete your shop's session data (myshopify domain, API access token and scope grants) from our servers. Deletion is completed within 30 days at the latest. No further action is required on your part.

Manual deletion request

You can also request deletion of your data directly at any time: email office@sharobella.com. We respond within 2 business days (Mon–Fri, Vienna time) and complete the deletion within 30 days at the latest. Please note: while the app is still installed, deleting the session data will stop the app from working. Uninstall the app first if applicable.

What data this covers

your store's myshopify domain,
the Shopify API access token (offline session) and the OAuth scopes you granted,
support correspondence – on request, where no statutory retention duty applies.

Your app configuration (e.g. shipping-option rules and city lists) does not live on our servers: it is stored as app metafields directly inside your own Shopify store, and Shopify removes it automatically together with the app on uninstallation. Excluded from deletion are records we are legally required to retain (in particular accounting and billing records: 7 years under Austrian BAO/UGB).

End-customer data and compliance webhooks

Our apps process no personal data of end customers on our servers. The privacy webhooks mandated by Shopify are nevertheless fully implemented: customers/data_request (answer: no end-customer data held), customers/redact (no end-customer data to delete) and shop/redact (triggers the automatic deletion described above).
