Magento Agency

Sharobella supports businesses in Vienna and Austria around Magento and Adobe Commerce: care and optimization of existing stores – and, when the platform has become too costly or complex, a clean migration to Shopify or Shopify Plus.

Our Magento services

Magento (today Adobe Commerce) is one of the most powerful e-commerce platforms – and one of the most expensive to run. We help you get the most out of it, or switch at the right time:

Care & optimization – performance, stability and further development of existing Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce stores.
Security & patches – timely application of the security patches Magento regularly requires.
Extensions & customization – module development and integration into your system landscape.
B2B commerce – price lists, customer groups, quote processes and ERP integration.
TCO audit – an honest analysis of your setup's hosting, maintenance and development costs.
Magento → Shopify / Shopify Plus migration – products, customers, orders and URL structures, without SEO loss.

Magento zu Shopify Migration – Prozess in English

Migration without SEO loss – our process

The most common reason to postpone a Magento migration is fear of losing rankings. Our process removes exactly that fear: complete URL mapping of all categories and products, 301 redirects, carry-over of meta and structured data, testing on staging and a crawl comparison before and after go-live. We have delivered comparable replatforming projects – such as TZS First Austria (Shopware → Shopify in 10 weeks, incl. ERP/PIM integration).

When does moving off Magento pay off?

Magento shines with highly custom processes and an in-house dev team. In practice, though, many SMEs pay for flexibility they never use: dedicated hosting, mandatory security patches, expensive agency hours for every change. Do the honest maths:

Hosting & infrastructure: Magento needs dedicated hosting; Shopify includes it.
Maintenance: Magento patches and upgrades are mandatory and heavy; Shopify handles them automatically.
Development costs: Magento changes are almost always agency work; Shopify teams maintain a lot themselves.

If your store really uses Magento's flexibility: we optimize it. If not: we migrate you to Shopify or Shopify Plus in a structured way – B2B features included.

Frequently Asked Questions

Magento or Shopify – what fits SMEs?

For most SMEs Shopify is the lower-maintenance, cheaper choice; Magento pays off for highly custom B2B processes with an in-house dev team. We analyse your setup honestly before recommending a direction.

I am still on Magento 1 – what now?

Magento 1 has been unsupported for years – every further month is a security risk (think card data). Here we recommend migrating straight to Shopify instead of detouring via Magento 2; it is usually faster and cheaper.

Can a Magento migration happen without SEO loss?

Yes – with complete URL mapping, 301 redirects, preserved meta data and a before/after crawl comparison. Retaining your rankings is a fixed part of our migration process.

How long does a Magento migration take?

Depending on catalogue and integrations, typically 8–14 weeks. Comparable project: we delivered TZS First Austria's complete replatforming sprint in 10 weeks.

Do you also maintain existing Magento stores?

Yes. If Magento fits your business, we maintain and optimize your store – performance, security patches and further development – without any need to migrate.
